What an amazing spring and summer market season it's been!

As July marked my final pop-up, craft fair and market before autumn, I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to visit Big Bag Maker. Whether you stopped by for a chat, treated yourself to something handmade, or simply supported my small business with your kind words and encouragement, I'm truly grateful.

We've certainly experienced every kind of British summer weather this season—from glorious sunshine to heavy rain and blustery winds—but you still came out to support independent makers. Your support means more than you know, and every purchase helps me continue creating handmade, sustainable products that I love making.

So, what's next?

I'm taking a little break from markets and pop-up events—but don't worry, I'm not taking a complete break!

Behind the scenes, the sewing machine is still busy! I'll be working on customer orders, experimenting with fresh ideas, designing new products, and getting ready for an exciting autumn season.

August is also a very special month for me, as it's my birthday month! I'll be taking a little time to celebrate with my twin, recharge my batteries, and return full of inspiration for the months ahead.

I'm looking forward to being back at craft fairs and markets in September or October 2026, with lots of beautiful new handmade creations for you to discover.
